SHAPESHIFTER,
SUNSHINE SOUNDSYSTEM & NIGHTSHADE

Saturday 25 Feb, Forsyth Barr Stadium. BUY TICKETS

After being picked up by the iconic Hospital Records, Shapeshifter have gone from strength to strength. From Mangawhai Tavern (legendary venue that it is) to the stages of Europe, Shapies entrance crowds with heartfelt lyrics, heartpumping drums and mesmorising bass lines uplifting the audience like the All Blacks beating the Aussies.
The Stadium is the only venue big enough (and after our 'summer', dry enough) to hold New Zealand’s favourite live drum and bass act, and OUSA is PUMPED to have them grace our Orientation again as one of only two South Island shows they’ll be performing.
SHAPESHIFTER! OUSA! ORIENTADIUM!

SHIHAD, CAIRO KNIFE FIGHT & KNIVES AT NOON

Friday 24 Feb, Forsyth Barr Stadium. BUY TICKETS

Moshers unite as we bring back Shihad, New Zealand's leading Rock act! After being inducted into NZ’s Rock n Roll Hall of Fame at the 2011 Vodafone Music Awards, they make their welcome return to Dunedin. Since their last appearance they’ve released another stellar album, Ignite. They continue to rip up the rock scene like they have for over twenty years, and Toogood is still living up to his name!
Sharing the stage is Cairo Knife Fight, who have recently returned from CMJ Music Festival in New York. This two-piece will blow you away; Nick Gaffaney holds down the drums, keys, samples as well as singing while Aaron Tokona (Fly My Pretties, Weta) spends his time schredding on the guitar.
Also in support is local Dunedinites, Knives at Noon. After releasing ‘Glitter Guts’ to rave reviews in 2010, they have been found supporting the likes of Smashing Pumpkins and Vampire Weekend.
This is going to be the BEST Orientation Rock night in New Zealand, and to top it off we’ve got the Orientadium Stadium ready to ROLL for SHIHAD, CAIRO KNIFE FIGHT and KNIVES AT NOON!!!
