MANAGING YOUR OWN STRESS
Feeling stressed out? If so, learn how to feel more relaxed and cope with the stress of school and other life events with greater wisdom, by being aware of how we react to stress and even unnecessarily increase it sometimes. In this course you will learn: The relationship between our thoughts, emotions and physiological stress responses. Techniques for noticing an shifting your reactions to stress. Techniques for calming your thoughts and emotions, including several forms of meditation, stetches, and guided imagery. How to put this all together in daily practices that increase your well being and thoughtfulness.

MEDITATION
This course aims to introduce students to the practice of Meditation. Mediation (dhyana, ch'an, zen) is a fundamental praxis common to all paths of Yoga and Buddhism. These classes cover techniques for sitting, breathing and observing the mind in stillness, cultivating mental awareness and centering. Please Note: The first session is integral to the course.

QIGONG BEGINNERS
This course will cover basic movements for stress relief and health. You will learn Zhineng Qigong energy techniques called 'First Method': Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down' to rapidly build up and increase healthy Qi flow, to correct disorders of Qi and to calm and unify the energy of your body and mind. Great for study!

QIGONG BEGINNERS AND BEYOND
This course develops on Qigong Beginners and is best suited for those who already have a good basic awareness of their body. Second method body/mind form is especially good for parts of the body that are rarely worked on. Regular practice can stretch the sinew and tendons, strengthen the bones, give the body vigour and grace, smooth and harmonise the flow of channels, enhance health and develop the power of the mind.

QIGONG LUNCHTIME
During lunchtime you will practice Zhineng Qigong energy techniques called 'First Method: Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down' to rapidly build up and increase healthy Qi flow. Return to work or study feeling more focused and revitalised.

TAI CHI
Tai Chi is an ancient mind-body exercise consisting of slow, relaxed meditative movement tha develops awareness of the body's internal energy system to assist in maintaining postural integrity, strength and vitality, martial ability and spiritual clarity throughout one's life. These classes utilise gentle stretching, Qi Gong and principles of Yang Cheng Fu Tai Chi form. The first thrid of the form will be taught. Practice will, among other benefits, enhance balance, provide relaxation, stress relief and aid naturalness in movement.

TAI CHI - LUNCHTIME
Tai Chi is an ancient mind-body exercise consisting of slow, relaxed meditative movement that develops awareness of the bodys internal energy system to assist in maintaining postural integrity, strenght and vitality, martial ability and spiritual clarity throughout ones life. Escape from the office or study and get moving with a short lunchtime Tai Chi session

VIPASSANA MEDITATION
Introduction to Insight (or Vipassana) Meditation. Insight Meditation is a living Buddhist practice, with a 2500 year history. It includes several forms of meditation which develop the capacity to see clearly, to know how things are moment to moment. Usually our minds are focused on how we wish things to be different, to be more this and less that, lost in planning or day dreams. When we meditation, we train our minds to stay present.
